Scott Putesky, also known by his stage name Daisy Berkowitz, was an American musician and songwriter best known as the co-founder and original guitarist of the influential rock band Marilyn Manson. Born on April 28, 1968, in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Putesky was a key member of the band during its formative years and helped shape its unique sound and image.
Putesky left Marilyn Manson in 1996 after creative differences with frontman Marilyn Manson (real name Brian Warner) and went on to pursue a solo career and work on various projects. He released music under the moniker Three Ton Gate and also collaborated with other artists.
Tragically, Scott Putesky passed away on October 22, 2017, after a battle with colon cancer. He was 49 years old at the time of his death. Despite his relatively short life, he left a lasting impact on the music world, particularly within the industrial and shock rock genres. May he rest in peace.
